About us

OUR MISSION:

The mission of Father’s Heart Ministry is to develop students of the Word of God through careful preaching and teaching of the Word, with a focus on practical application to life. It is the goal of Father’s Heart Ministry to encourage and grow the congregation in their individual giftings and callings to both serve the body of Father’s Heart Ministry and to make disciples of all nations.

Epheshians 4:11-13 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. We believe that the power of grace has the capacity to transform our thinking.

CHURCH SERVICES:
  • Sunday Morning Service is at 10:00am

  • Wednesday Night Bible Study at 6:30pm.

PASTOR'S QUOTE:

“I feel that the understanding of the Father’s heart toward us as His children is a vital part of understanding more clearly the relationship between God and man. It is my conviction that when the scriptures are properly taught, there is a capacity to receive truth that will liberate not only those struggling with life controlling issues, but it will empower anyone to embrace the fullness of the life that God has for us. The teaching ministry focus is exposing the listener to the most available truth of the scripture that will in turn produce freedom in a person’s life. “ Pastor Jairo

About the Pastors

Pastors Jairo and Heather Daza were on staff at Brooklyn Teen Challenge for many years.  Pastor Jairo graduated from FITS (Faith International Training School), a ministry of Faith Fellowship in Sayerville, NJ.  He is licensed and ordained by Covenant Ministries International, and has his CASAC T Drug and Alcohol Training Certification.  Pastor Jairo’s personal experience with the struggle of addiction as a Christian led to both his vision for the program of Father’s Heart Ministry and the official establishment of the church in 2015.

Pastor Jairo also teaches every semester at Faith International Training School, where he instructs international pastors and students as part of their training for the ministry.  The teaching of the Father’s heart is an international message and our ministry has an international voice through it's participation in this program.  Part of the vision at Father’s Heart is to one day have the facilities to bring in internationals from all over the world and train them here.

Working alongside Pastor Jairo is his wife Heather.  Pastor Heather has been trained in Temperament Analysis and is a Certified EMT, working 5 years in the ER at Staten Island University as a Nursing Assistant.  Pastor Heather’s personal family experience of individuals struggling with addiction has given her a unique perspective and understanding of the need for both boundaries and support for those in addiction.  She is an invaluable resource to family members in the often very confusing role of knowing how to best love and support someone struggling with addiction.  This balance provides a comprehensive program of recovery for both the client struggling with addiction, as well as those who love them.

Married in 2000, they have 4 wonderful children Dylan, Sarah, Aaron and Joshua, and 4 Grandchildren, Gianna Marie, Grayson, Copeland Jean and Riley Lynn
